Eric Church Remembers Vegas Victims At Grand Ole Opry Performance

Eric Church headlined the first night of the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival on Friday. 2 Days later was the worst mass shooting in U.S. history at the same festival.

Last night, Church played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. He spoke about the tragedy during his performance and memorialized victims with a performance of 'Hallelujah.'

He referenced remarks by Dr. Heather Melton, wife of victim Sonny Melton who died while shielding her during the attack, who stated that they attended the festival to see Church. And then had tickets to see his performance at this Grand Ole Opry where he spoke on them.

Church made sure there were two empty seats in the Opryhouse for the Meltons and said that this performance was for them.

Wow. There are no words after that memorial from Church and the story on this family.
