Scammers use close variations on stars' names or other tricks to fool unsuspecting followers into thinking they're the real deal.

Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Maren Morris are among the stars appearing in a clip reminding fans to look for the checkmark that indicates a Verified Twitter account. They're warning fans not to give money, personal information, buy merchandise or tickets to concerts from these bogus accounts.
