Selena Gomez Shared TV, Movie & Music Recommendations While Staying Home

During this extremely difficult time amid the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, it's important to remember to stay home to help flatten the curve and minimize the spread of the virus. But, in staying home, many out there are thinking of how to pass the time — and if you've been wondering what show to binge next or are looking for music recommendations, Selena Gomez has revealed what she's been watching, listening to and reading while remaining home ... and it just might give you a little inspiration.

In her Instagram stories, along with a few adorable photos of her dog, she wrote, "Here are some things that I've been watching, listening to and reading to keep me positive and help pass the time. Hope it helps!"

For music, Selena shared several songs she's been loving at the moment — one of them even being from her ex boyfriend, The Weeknd. On her current list of songs is "If the World Was Ending" by JP Saxe featuring her good pal Julia Michaels, Lauren Daigle's "You Say," The Weeknd's "Showchild" from his new album After Hours, "The Blessing" by Christian music singer/songwriters Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, and — last but not least — Roddy Ricch's hit "The Box."

Music isn't the only thing that Sel has been listening to! She also shared what podcasts she likes, which includes "On Purpose with Jay Shetty," NPR's "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!," Oprah and Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth," and (for night time) "Get Sleepy."

As for what she's been watching, for movies she shared, Invisible Man, Jennifer's Body, American Hustle, Uncut Gems, Clueless (such a classic), Sugar and Spice, After the Wedding, Zodiac, Election and Flirting with Disaster. And on the TV front, she's been loving The Morning Show, Good Girls, The Servant, Saturday Night Live re-runs, and The Mind Explained.

If you're looking for a good book to read, Gomez has these books on her shelf: Michelle Obama's Becoming, The Undocumented Americans by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio, and Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe by Laura Lynne Jackson.

Now that you have all of Selena's recommendations, she's looking for some from her fans! She wrote to her Selenators, "Now, send me your suggestions for movies, books, podcasts, etc!"
