The band members of Old Dominion are pros when it comes to entertaining crowds… and it turns out, others do a pretty good job at entertaining them, too.
Old Dominion shared a reel on Instagram, proving that “everyone loves a good dad joke” as they revealed some of their funniest text messages. Some of the best dad jokes the “I Was On A Boat That Day” band received included:
“My boss asked me why I only get sick on work days. I said it must be my weekend immune system.”
“I heard that Trevor learned to play accordion by ear, but every time I see him play it, he’s using his hands.”
“How can you identify a dogwood tree? By its bark.”
“I had to fire the guy I hired to mow my lawn. He just didn’t cut it.”
It wasn’t long before some of Old Dominion’s social media followers joined the fun. Some of them added jokes of their own in the comments, and others pointed out which ones were their favorites. They wrote: “Wanna hear a pizza joke? Never mind….it’s cheesy!,” “The accordion joke is next level,” and “Oh lord, I laughed too hard at these,” to name a few. Watch the reel here:
