Halloween happenings around Las Vegas

-Rock of Horror at Fremont Street Experience. Epic people watching, Halloween haunts, flash mobs, and free nightly entertainment Thursday-Sunday. There will be themed, theatrical musical performances by Alter Igor on 1st Street stage, as well as an exclusive production show "Wicked Dreams," complete with dazzling visuals, alluring dancers and aerialists on 3rd Street Stage.

-HallOVeen AT THE MAGICAL FOREST Open now! Opportunity Village is at it again with a Halloween experience you don’t want to miss! Forest-goers can enjoy fun rides, nightly entertainment, trick-or-treat stations, midway carnival games, and more at HallOVeen! Go to opportunityvillage.org for more information.

-HOUSE ON A HILL October 29 - 31st from 5 - 9pm: This features a classic Halloween display featuring two full pirate ships, a medieval village, Egyptian dig site and a Western ghost town with a haunted cemetery and real hidden mine. The event supports the charity Paradise Ranch Foundation (horse therapy, paradiseranchlv.com) and a local food bank. Requesting 2 cans of food per person or cash donations to the charity. Masks requested.

-BOO AT THE ZOO AT LION HABITAT RANCH October 29 - 31st from 11am - 3pm (Last admission is 2:30pm): This will be a limited three-day event. The lions will be receiving some extra Halloween-themed enrichment. The birds and tortoises will also be receiving some Halloween enrichment as well and will have trick or treat stations around the park (for children 14 and under, while supplies last). Additionally, there will be a scavenger hunt for everyone to learn more about extinction and conservation and plenty of decorated photo opportunities.

-CIRCA HOSTS VEGAS VICKIE COSTUME CONTEST October 31st from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Circa Resort & Casino will light up downtown Las Vegas this Halloween with its first-ever $10,000 Vegas Vickie “Neon Idol” costume contest. The winner will take home a$10,000 cash prize and a one-of-a-kind Vegas Vickie print from YESCO, the company that restored the sign for her return as a signature art piece in Circa’s lobby.

-ANNUAL HALLOWEEN SAFE-TACULAR AND BOOSTER SEAT BONANZA AT UMC CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL October 30th from 9a.m. - Noon. The Annual Halloween Safe-tacular and BOOster Seat Bonanza returns to UMC Children’s Hospital. Held in partnership with Kohl’s Cares, the festive, trunk-or-treat style event will offer goodie bags with treats while supplies last as well as pedestrian safety gear and education.

-IKEA TRICK OR TREAT October 29, 2021 from 5:00 pm- 7:00pm. IKEA Las Vegas, will be hosting an in-store Trick or Treat experience as a safe and fun alternative for families in our community to participate in Halloween activities. This event will feature multiple tables along a designated route in the IKEA store where customers can collect pre-packed goodie bags. IKEA co-workers will be required to wear masks and will follow safety procedures for pre-packed goodie bag hand out.

Southeast Area Command will host Trunk or Treat on October 28th from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Silver Bowl Park, 6800 E. Russell Road
Convention Center Area Command &South-Central Area Command will host Trunk or Treat one October 28th from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. 750 Sierra Vista Drive
Bolden Area Command will host Honk or Treat Parade: 3:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Enterprise Area Command will host Monster Mash on October 28th from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. The Crossing, 7950 W. Windmill Lane

Downtown Container Park announces a family-friendly lineup of Halloween events

-Starting on October 28th, everyone is invited to enjoy an array of Halloween festivities starting with the Container Park's Silent Disco.

-Guests can do the monster mash on The Lawn from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

-Disco-demons can enjoy costume contests, giveaways, music, and more.

-Sunday, October 31 Container Park welcomes costume kiddos for a special evening of trick-or-treating. -Guests can go tent-to-tent for special gifts and candy from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a complimentary sunset screening on The Lawn of Hocus Pocus.

-Celebrate Día de Los Muertos a day early with special mariachi entertainment from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. provided by Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
