From On The Verge ... to #1 ... it's "Hurricane"!

Luke Combs is celebrating after "Hurricane" hit the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart over the weekend.

The country newcomer's first number-one seizes the top spot from Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road," which spent two weeks at number-one, falling to number-three this week.

Brett Young's "In Case You Didn't Know" jumps two spots to number-two, while Kelsea Ballerini's "Yeah Boy" drops one spot to number-four. Dierks Bentley's "Black" holds at number-five.

  • Luke says he plans to celebrate with a little party with friends.
  • "Hurricane" is Luke's debut single, so this is a big deal for him.
  • Luke's debut album, This One's For You, is out on June 2nd.
