Workers cleaning up a stretch of highway near Dallas found an unusual piece of roadside debris and are now trying to return it whoever it came from.
Tossed amongst the typical roadside trash pile of things like coffee cups, cigarette butts and discarded tires, was a white wedding gown. The dress was packed neatly into a box which also contained some documents indicating that the dress was boxed 20 years ago. A spokesperson for the The North Texas Tollway Authority says, "This is not a Sally Field, Smokey and the Bandit deal, it didn't go flying out of a vehicle per se. It's boxed up. It's clearly somebody's memory somewhere along the way they lost track with it and we like to reunite them."
A photo of the dress was posted on Twitter in the hopes of finding its owner.
