My teenager was in town for spring break, so I was looking for something uniquely Vegas for her to experience. I've seen countless ads on Facebook for Omega Mart in Area 15. You know, these ads:
So I thought that would hit the spot. She told her friends and they freaked out. Apparently, there are lots of videos about it on TikTok.
According to the website, Omega Mart is an interactive, mind-bending art experience. It's an extraordinary supermarket that bursts into surreal worlds and unexpected landscapes.
Yeah, that's an ample summary. But it really only covers the tip of the iceberg. Sure the store shelves are filled with parody products and psychedelic features, but that's just the front.
There are many entry points throughout the market that lead you to the hidden world, fully of tunnels, slides and rivers that is hard to put into words.
It's a trippy playground for all ages, it's a one-of-a-kind art exhibition, a unique game experience and the perfect place to step up your selfie game. It's a transformative space to let your imagination run wild!
Oh, and it's also a unique shopping experience. There's loads of souvenirs to take home and show your friends.
It's hard to experience everything Omega Mart has to offer in one visit and that's one of the things that makes it amazing! You'll spend about two hours experiencing it. But honestly, you could get lost in there all day, if you had the time.
You have to make reservations in advance and GA tickets for adult locals are $35, $45 for out-of-towners. That price point might seem a bit steep, but it truly is worth the admission. There are so many stories you'll share about this exhibit for years to come. MeowWolf did an outstanding job with Omega Mart.
