This story might just make you well up a bit. A woman who was paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident back in 2010 surprised her husband when she walked down the aisle on their wedding day.
29-year-old Chelsie Hill typically uses a wheelchair to get around. But last month at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, she got to do something she says she always dreamed of, walking down the aisle and “stand[ing] eye to eye” with her husband as they said their vows.
Hill used a combination of leg braces and a walker to make that dream come true. "I want to stress that there's nothing wrong with sitting down in your chair," Hill said. "But for me growing up, I always imagined myself walking down the aisle."
Her husband had no idea she would be surprising him and was overcome with emotion. You can see moment in this TikTok video below.
