The Living Treasures Wild Animal Park in New Castle is introducing everyone to their new baby giraffe. Calvin was born almost 2 weeks ago at a height of 6'3". Park officials say the labor went smoothly and mom is doing well. Calvin is the first calf born at Living Treasures and is the first born in western Pennsylvania in many years. You might remember April the giraffe who captivated the nation from New York when her webcam went viral earlier this year. Well, April is Calvin's grandmother. Calvin's dad Levi is April's 5-year-old son.
Calvin hasn't made a public debut yet but the park will be posting updates on Facebook.
