Adding insult to injury, the 65-year-old man who was driving the Mercedes that collided with the actor says he has no idea who George Clooney is. Antonello Viglino claims the sun was in his eyes when he attempted to make a turn right in front of Clooney and never saw him. Following the accident, he said someone told him who he had hit and his response was, "Who?"
Viglino says people then told him about the big Hollywood star who is filming scenes in the area for his Hulu series Catch-22. He says he wanted to see Clooney in the hospital but was told he had already been discharged
