Eric Church Releases Surprise New Song, 'Bad Mother Trucker'

Eric Church has surprised fans with the release of a new song "Bad Mother Trucker" on Friday (July 31).

The guitar-driven song, co-written by Church alongside Casey Beathard, Luke Dick and Jeremy Spillman, is an ode to tough women doing things their own way.

"She is hell on wheels where the road meets the rubber / A real gear jammer, a white line wonder/ Yeah, you only get one and I wouldn’t want another / ‘Cause mama was a bad mother trucker," Church sings on the chorus.

"Bad Mother Trucker" is the fifth song shared with fans by Church since the start of the year. He recently released "Stick That In Your Country Song," as the first single from his forthcoming album.

Additionally, in February he debuted a song called "Jenny" during the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, which was followed by his April video debut of "Through My Ray Bans." Church also gave a performance of "Never Break Heart" on April 5 during the ACM Presents: Our Country special.

Church's highly-anticipated new album will follow-up 2018's Desperate Man. Earlier this year, the country singer revealed that he wrote and recorded 28 songs in 28 days for his next project. Stay tuned for more details to come on Church's next album!
