Here on Fremont Street, we have a great view of Heart Attack Grill from our studio. It's a place known for over-the-top indulgence. And now home to a new record!
Competitive eater Matt Stonie was in town and crushed the Octuple Bypass Burger, with a staggering 20,000 calories, in under 5 minutes! Four minutes and 10 seconds to be exact.
Heart Attack Grill owner Jon Basso and about 60 customers were on hand to witness the record.
To break it down, this burger has 8.5 beef patties, 40 slices of bacon, 16 slices of cheese, an onion, two tomatoes and chili. That's about the same as 40 Quarter Pounders from McDonalds.
Watch as the record was set. Would you even try it?
