Get ready for taste-o-vision!
A Japanese professor has invented a lickable TV screen that lets viewers taste the food they see on TV. Although a global pandemic might not be the best time to be going around licking televisions, professor Homei Miyashita says his "Taste the TV" invention will let people "download and enjoy the flavors of the food from the restaurants they fancy, regardless of where they are based in the future."
It uses a combination of 10 flavors that are dispensed on a film that slides onto the screen, creating the taste of the food that's pictured.
This will take cooking shows to a whole new level!
No word yet on when we will have them available in the US, but that should be fun to try!
