After A Nail-Biter, Raiders Are In The Playoffs! Here's What's Next

The spirit of John Madden was smiling down on Allegiant Stadium last night. The night started with his family lighting the Al Davis torch and ending with a thrilling overtime win!

And with that, for the first time since moving to Las Vegas, the Raiders are playoff bound.

Daniel Carlson secured an AFC wildcard spot with a 47-yard field goal in the waning seconds of Overtime, giving the Raiders a 35-to-32 victory over the Chargers at Allegiant Stadium last night. If he would have missed, the game would have ended in a tie, and both teams would have made the playoffs.

Instead, the Raiders are the fifth seed in the AFC, Pittsburgh is the seventh seed and the Chargers are done.

The Raiders now go to Cincinnati to kick off the first round of the NFL playoffs against the Bengals on Saturday. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m. Just win baby!
