Yes, housing prices are rising. But that didn't stop two cities in Southern Nevada from being ranked as some of the "best cities to buy an affordable family home," according to SmartAsset.
Henderson ranked ninth on the list, North Las Vegas tied with Durham North Carolina to rank 20th.
They evaluated the 100 largest cities across the country on homeownership rate, percentage of homes available with at least two bedrooms, affordability, and more. Number one was Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
