LIST: North Las Vegas Ranks Worst For Active Lifestyle

New Year’s resolutions are fresh in our minds this time of year and some of Americans’ are “exercising more” and “losing weight." While aspiring to be the healthiest version of yourself is easy, actually reaching that goal is a lot more challenging. And it turns out, where you live may play a role in whether you stick to your resolutions.

With that in mind, WalletHub set out to determine the best cities for an active lifestyle.

They compared the 100 biggest cities in the U.S. on 36 key indicators of an active lifestyle, looking at everything from the average monthly fitness-club fee to the number of hiking trails in the area.

Based on all that, Honolulu, Hawaii, tops the list, scoring 62.19 out of 100 and coming in first for sports and outdoors.

On the flip side, ranking at the bottom of the list is North Las Vegas, Nevada, with a score of 26.33 out of 100. It comes in last for Budget & Participation and 97th for Sports & Outdoors. Not sure how Reno beat us on this one?
