We are blessed to have some pretty incredible hiking trails around our great state. If you like to hike and camp in Nevada’s great outdoors, here’s something to be aware of this season.
We had a pretty wet winter, in fact one of the wettest yet! All the rain we had followed by warm weather will be a big breeding ground for all sorts of insects.
The UNLV School of Public Health recommends you check your clothing and dog’s fur before going indoors after being outdoors.
Ticks will be a problem this year, as will mosquitos…so make sure you have a good bug repellant handy.
