Jimmie Allen is focusing on his family after he and his estranged wife welcomed Baby No. 3 together, son Cohen Ace James, amid their ongoing divorce. Allen’s wife, Alexis Gale, shared the first photos of the couple’s newborn son earlier this week.

“As of right now, Jimmie and Lexi are focused on their new bundle of joy,” a representative for Allen told PEOPLE in a story published on Wednesday (October 4). “He’s currently splitting his time between Delaware with the family, along with Florida and California, working on finishing his new music which should be out later this fall.”

Gale revealed that son Cohen Ace James made his arrival on Wednesday, September 27, in an Instagram post on Monday (October 2). Gale shared the first photos of the couple’s newborn, including some snapshots with their other children. She and Allen are parents to daughters Naomi Bettie, born in March 2020, and Zara James, born in October 2021. Allen is also father to son Aadyn, 8, from a previous relationship.

Allen and Gale announced in a statement together in April that they were separating after nearly two years of marriage (they married in May 2021). They shared at the same time that they were expecting another child together, and said that their “number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.”

The couple’s divorce reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences,” and Allen previously shared in a statement to PEOPLE that “my wife and I are working to resolve things together as a family.” See the photos Gale shared of Cohen Ace James here:
