Keith Urban's latest album, Ripcord, has been certified platinum -- making him only the second country artist who released an album in 2016 to move more than a million units.
He says, “It’s an extraordinary feeling. That’s all I can say. I love making music. I love writing. I love playing. I love all the things I get to do. For Ripcord to have done what it's done is really magical."
The new certification puts Keith in the history books as the second country music artist to have had all of his solo albums -- nine in all -- go platinum. (Tennesseean)
