Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Craig Campbell will provide the entertainment for Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular.
The 25-minute show, which attracts visitors from all over the world, will be scored by the West Point Band. The festivities will air live from New York City on NBC.
Meanwhile back in Nashville, Chris Young takes the stage on Lower Broadway for the Let Freedom Ring Music City fireworks display.
The NYC display fires off 300 shells per minute.
Each of the five barges in New York Harbor uses about 4.7 miles of wire to ignite the fireworks.
At the peak height, the fireworks reach three-times higher than the Statue of Liberty.
Nashville is no slouch when it comes to fireworks. More than 35,000 pounds of explosives and 150 miles of wire are used.
The highest Nashville burst reaches about 1000 feet. Same as NYC's.
