When coronavirus hit, the workdays of restaurant owner Eduard Seitan of Chicago changed in a big way. Instead of spending all his time at his restaurant, Eduard had a bit of free time on his hands.
In order to cope with the new situation -- and still feel like he was being productive -- Eduard started flying at-risk dogs and cats to safety through the nonprofit group Pilots N Paws.
Luckily, Eduard owns a small airplane and has been delivering dogs and cats in shelters to rescue organizations and foster families across the U.S.
So far, he’s personally delivered over 40 pets to safety for the group.
Eduard is thrilled that he’s been able connect pets and people over these past few months, explaining that his work with Pilots N Paws has been a silver lining to the tough times these days
