In Strongsville, Ohio, parents arranged for a food truck to arrive at Strongsville Middle School -- and gave all the teachers working there a special free lunch.
The “Off The GRIDdle” food truck was arranged by Jennie Kelley-Crosby, who happens to be a parent of a student -- and a nurse.
Jennie recognized that teachers and staff members have been called upon for extra duty, just like front-line workers, and wanted to make sure they felt appreciated.
Jenny hopes that the simple act of kindness that she was able to organize provides some motivation to others as we continue to navigate these difficult times.
