If you’ve seen the national news at all, then you know that the country of Afghanistan is dealing with a lot of chaos.
Well, a charity group in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is coordinating with animal shelters over there -- as well as animal shelters here in America -- to rescue dogs from that chaos.
Over this summer, this group, calling themselves Mutt Mutt Engine, arranged transportation to bring these needy dogs to the U.S., where they were prepared for permanent homes.
To be clear ... Mutt Mutt Engine doesn’t actually care for the animals. Instead, it works behind the scenes to support and assist other animal groups that save dogs in need, connecting those dogs with people who can help them -- even if it means flying them here from 11,000 miles away.
