The Grand Ole Opry celebrated their 5,000th broadcast Saturday night, with an all-star lineup that included Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Darius Rucker, Vince Gill, Chris Young and more.
Live performances from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville included a medley that featured Bill Anderson performing Roy Acuff’s “Wabash Cannonball,” Connie Smith performing Hank Williams’ "Jambalaya,” TerriClark performing Loretta Lynn’s “Coal Miner's Daughter,” Darius performing Bill Monroe’s “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” Chris Janson performing “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” and more.
Other performances included: Vince performed "Way Downtown" in tribute to The McGee Brothers; Young sang the Charley Pride classic "Kiss An Angel Good Mornin’” Darius sang Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight” and Connie Smith, Jeannie Seely and John Conlee, along with Dustin Lynch and Young performed “The Circle Will Be Unbroken.”
Closing the show was Garth and Trisha, who performed a set that included “Callin' Baton Rouge," "She's In Love With The Boy," "In Another's Eyes," "Two Pina Coladas," "How Do I Live," "The River," "Walkaway Joe," and "Friends In Low Places.
