The Rock Surprises His High School With Inspiration

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is giving back to the high schools that shaped into the man he is today. He teamed up with Under Armor to provide his new Project Rock performance gear to the football teams at his two alma maters – McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawaii and Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The Rock addressed the team at Freedom in a video uploaded to his official YouTube page. He gave the guys a surprise pep talk prior to their homecoming game against the number one team in their division. He then gifted them with the gear. 

It must have helped because Freedom took down their competitors 42-to-7. The wrestler-turned-action star came back to congratulate them. “You played hard, you played like the hardest workers in the room," he told the kids. "You played for blood, sweat and respect.
