Spanx Founder Is Giving Away A Solo Trip To A Resort

Have you always thought about taking a trip by yourself, but haven’t had the nerve to actually do it? Well, now’s your chance, thanks to Sara Blakely. The founder of Spanx knows you can have fun all on your own and she wants to prove it with a free trip for a solo traveler to a resort.

The entrepreneur took to Instagram to share the news that she’s teaming up with Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina for one special vacay giveaway. “Why? Because as a working mom, I have not spent enough time alone, and I have a feeling you don’t either,” Blakely says in the announcement. “I really want to encourage everybody to spend time alone.”

She shares that one of the best things she’s ever done for herself was to take a solo vacation to Montage Palmetto Bluff in honor of her 50th birthday. The destination is a favorite of moguls and celebs - it’s where Justin Bieber and Hailey got married - and it’s known for its 20-thousand acres of rolling hillsides that include a private nature reserve. There’s also a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, nine on-site restaurants and lots of luxury.

• According to Blakely’s post, the giveaway includes airfare, three days and nights at the resort with spa treatments and “unlimited French fries.”
