Freedom Face-Off Charity Game

Don't miss the 2nd 2nd Annual Freedom Face-Off charity game, Saturday September 11th at Lifeguard Arena in Henderson.

Featuring Vegas Sentinels (All first responder hockey club, registered non-profit organization) and the Vegas Veterans Hockey Foundation (all military veteran hockey club, registered non-profit organization.

Both organizations have the same mission (strengthen the physical and mental health of first responders and military veterans through the game of hockey). Raised funds are used to subsidize costs associated with hockey i.e., expensive ice time, hockey equipment, recreational league dues. Both organizations are also run entirely by appointed volunteer board members who are current first responders and veterans.

As the organizations continue outreach to our respective demographic, costs compound but the mission does not change. Currently the Vegas Sentinels have over 100 first responders within our membership. Cops, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel. The Vegas Veterans also have over 100 members, ranging from current active duty, veteran or retired. Members must have been honorably discharged if veteran/retired.

Our guest coach is Deryk Engelland. The Vets have Alex Tuch as their guest coach.

DJ Joe Green will be in house DJ, Carnell Johnson "Golden Pipes" will be singing the anthem, and Henderson Police/Henderson Fire will be presenting the colors.

Tickets are $15. Funds raised from the game divided between the two organizations to further mission of both organizations.
