Aces Win WNBA Finals, Las Vegas Championship Parade Set For Tuesday

The WNBA champion Aces are celebrating after becoming the first team to bring a professional sports title to Las Vegas.

They won the WNBA Finals three games to one, beating Connecticut 78-71 on Sunday. Chelsea Gray was named finals MVP after not being named to this year's all-star or all-WNBA teams.

There will be a championship parade tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:30 p.m. It will start near Caesar's Palace, go southbound down The Strip, then end with a rally in front of the fountains at the Bellagio.

That means traffic, so make plans. Southbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed to vehicles between Flamingo Road and Bellagio Drive from 6-11pm for the event. Roads near Caesars Palace and Flamingo road will also see rolling closures over the course of the event.

Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft will present the Aces with the key to the Strip and Governor Sisolak will also attend the event.

Congratulations to our Las Vegas Aces!
