I love naming contests! Mostly because it seems to spark creativity in all of us.
Well, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) held just such a contest to name their snow plows. NDOT said they reviewed hundreds of name submissions.
The winning names include:
Cirque du Snowleil from Southern Nevada / Mt. Charleston
Sierra Scoop– Northwestern Nevada
Nevada Thaw Enforcement– Northeastern Nevada
and Snowbegone Kenobi – Honorable Mention.
